For a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, the bustling Cayman Craft Market in downtown George Town is the place to be!
A stop at the Craft Market puts visitors in touch with the local artisans who create and display uniquely Caymanian art and craft souvenirs.
Browse through woven Silver Thatch* hats and bags, one-of-a-kind woodcarvings and paintings, jewellery handmade with local materials such as Caymanite, black coral, conch, seeds, shells and polished coconut shell. Local spices, jellies, jams, pickles, snacks and even hair braiding can also be found here. Crafts that represent a wider range of Caribbean souvenir items are also offered.
Located on the corner of Boilers Road and South Church Street, the Craft Market is just a short five-minute stroll from the cruise ship dock. It was developed as a venue for local artists and artisans to display and sell their indigenous art and craft.
The Cayman Craft Market has become an integral part of the tourism product enjoyed by tens of thousands of visitors each year.
